New Government

It is with some relief that I greet the news that Britain has a new Head of Government who has today been appointing her Cabinet. All we need now is a competent Opposition which will hold our government to account. 

God uses human government to limit and mitigate lawlessness and the excesses of the fallen human condition. We therefore pray for those in authority over us. Let's hope that this one has a better record than previous ones in respecting gospel freedoms.
