Northern Men's Convention

A friend and I attended the 2015 Northern Men's Convention at the Armitage Centre, Manchester today. The advert for the event said:

There appears to be no moral or other absolutes in an increasing number of areas and this is especially true in the realm of sexuality where increasing 'Anything goes'.

How true. The speakers reminded us that Biblical standards of living are eternal even when we are pressurised into subscribing to the latest beliefs and doctrines of this fallen world. The event was also a good reminder of how many strong Christian men there are in the North of England; I experienced the unusual phenomenon of seeing a queue to use the men's toilets.

I'll be encouraging more Martin Toppers to go to the May 2016 convention.
