Palladium Overtakes Gold

On Tuesday of this week, the price of palladium overtook gold. The following day, palladium was £15 an ounce dearer than its more famous yellow rival. The market soon adjusted itself, and once more, gold reigned supreme as the world’s most expensive metal.

In 1 Peter 1:7, the apostle teaches that Christian faith is more precious than gold. To the outward eye and the wisdom of this world, gold, lucre and money are more valuable than fellowship with God. This week, this lustrous silvery-white metal proved that gold is not the universe’s most precious treasure. At Christ’s return, this truth will become finally apparent to all.
