Four for a Pound

A local charity shop I am pleased to patronise has a special offer regarding DVDs. I am guessing that it was devised because the rate at which they receive DVD donations outstrips the rate at which they sell them, and they become overstocked. So for 1 DVD, it is £1. Or 4 DVDs for £1. But three DVDs...they costs £3. So if you are going to buy one, you might as well get four; four are cheaper than 2.

When one has Jesus Christ, one gets everything. We enjoy peace and support in this life, but also joy and pleasure in the world to come, without end. Our sins are forgiven, a new body awaits us, the angels are eager to meet us and we know we have a hope and a purpose. So for having Jesus Christ, you get everything else. Without Jesus, you really do pay dearly, and leave with nothing.
