What We Offer

Book Club

Starting in 2020, the first book we began to look at was Pilgrim’s Progress.

We now meet, online via zoom,  the last Friday of the month at 8pm to discuss the content of the book chosen. You would be most welcome to join in.

We break for summer (July and August)

Books we have read include:

Evidence Not Seen - Darlene Deibler Rose; True Friendship - Vaughan Roberts; Roadmap to Jesus - Alistair Chalmers; Holiness - J.C. Ryle; His Blood Works - Alan Stibbs  full list available.

What’s new?

From September one book of the month will be offered to purchase (around £1- £4.99)

Also, as an experiment for 3 months, anyone may borrow, free of charge, a book from a second-hand library of biographies and Christian topics  which will be  at chapel during the last week of each month. A full list will be available by email. Please ask if you are interested.

“Alas," you say, “I am not a reader!” Leaflets and shorter books will also be included…something for everyone, including how to access audio and ebooks.

'Value all books in proportion as they are agreeable to Scripture. Those that are nearest to it are the best, and those that are farthest from it, and most contrary to it, the worst.’
