Yet Shall He Live

At last, it is up and standing proud. Despite the costs, the difficult practicalities and the latent disapproval of bureaucracy, an elegant slate sign quoting Jesus Christ now stands erect in our graveyard. My thanks to the deacons and others who successfully arranged its manufacture and elevation. Any grieving relatives who come to inspect graves or those who come to admire the views, will face the words and invitation of Jesus, which offer a finer prospect than the view and a better hope than the grave.
