Road Closures

All road works are ended.

I have contacted the Council, and they assure me the road will re-open on the 7th, thus not disrupting travel on the 8th.

In case this does not happen, here are two alternative routes:

1) Ignoring the signs, proceed onto the A682 from Gisburn. After a mile, take the right turn to Rimington. After 2 miles, take the only left turn (signposted 'Martin Top') and we're about a couple miles up there.

2) Go to Chatburn (just outside of Clitheroe). There, follow signs to Downham and Rimington. Cross the bridge over the A59 and turn left before entering Downham (signposted 'Rimington'). Keep going right through the village til you see a right turn (signposted 'Martin Top') and we're about a couple miles up there.
