Carol Thanks

Thanks to all who came to our carol services. On 13th December, we met at the village Memorial Institute and shared with the WI. About 50 villagers came along and I spoke on the Magi's gifts to Christ. The following Sunday we had Eric Platt from Nelson in the morning, and a candlelit service in the evening, supported by about fifty people including work colleagues and family members. I spoke on the three reactions to Christ's birth- the hatred of Herod, the indifference of the scribes and worship of the wise men. Everyone stopped for supper afterwards.
