Chatham House Chatting Rubbish

Leading think tank Chatham House posted a rather ill-targeted ad on one of my social media feeds:

The rise of evangelical Christian activism has in some cases rolled back advances in human rights. Read world-leading insights online today.

It cites US evangelicals (and by implication, we in Britain) as hindering human rights. Opposing the murder of the unborn and sticking to a millennia-old definition of marriage now renders us opponents of human rights. This is ironic, considering the Times newspaper now counts Christians as the most persecuted minority on the planet. Chatham House would do well consider the causes of that, instead of expending its vast energies on criticising those with traditional, Judeao-Christian world views.
