Fishers of Men, Patiently.
We ran our little market stall last week. Unlike tract distribution, the people typically come to us, not we to them. Attracted by the Carswells’ books, the Craft Group’s cards and Vinny Commons’ pottery, we met new people and sent them off with literature and a friendly smile. We had not long queues of punters like as ssen at supermarket checkouts, but a gentle trickle of the curious, the idlling and the passing. Usually, being a fisher of men means not using the drag net, but the single line, and waiting patiently.
