Rimington Parish Council

The Parish Council, to mark our bicentenary this year, and to provide local folk with a source of information, have paid for a magnificent new noticeboard for the otherwise unattractive gable of the chapel. It is handmade and has Martin Top written above it, indicating the name of the hamlet in which it is sited, and the name of the chapel upon which it is fastened.

England in general, and Rimington in particular, is served by excellent men and women on its parish councils (not to be confused with parochial councils which serve Anglican parish churches). These people give of their time freely, in order to support, improve and conserve their local areas.

Three cheers for Rimington Parish Council.
