World War Me

The Daily Express has sent me a panicky email linking to one of its articles:

I suspect that the Scottish Highlands and remote English dales will fare better than my current location (I did not bother to consult the list nor read the article). I do not suppose that the Daily Express is that concerned either; what is the point of drawing increased advertising revenues from a popular website link if you sincerely believe there will be no country left in which to spend them? With a gung-ho American President and a smarting Iranian Ayatollah both at loggerheads and not wishing to appear weak, however, the prospects of World War Three do not look as remote as they might have done a decade back.

If you are a Christian, take courage and exercise self-control. It is not Messrs Trump or Khamenei who shall destroy this world, but Jesus Christ, the Word of God, atop His great, white charger. Our times are in His hands, and He knows the middle from the end. If you are not yet ‘saved’, regard with greater fear the Almighty God of heaven whose laws you have repeatedly broken. His wrath burns hotter than nuclear warheads, though His mercy is freely offered to those who come to Him, believing and repenting. There is a cataclysm coming to planet earth far hotter and harder than anything these two men can unleash. 

And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matthew 24:6, NKJV
