Finding Forgiveness in Leytonstone

I was very impressed with some advertising at Forest Baptist Church in Leytonstone, London. Close to the Welsh Church building in which it meets, is a large billboard from which a gospel message is proclaimed:

Fear Not! Find forgiveness and hope in the life of Jesus

In the foreground is a hey-filled manger; in the background, three crosses on a hillside. Although London is a melting pot for ‘all faiths and none’, its churches seemed to have a boldness which puts their northern brethren to shame. Few of our churches even erect scripture texts outside their premises, never mind hiring gigantic advertising boards. Let the hell-bound read this and find the hope of Jesus.
