The ‘Italianate Church’ in Wilton in Wiltshire has the kind of aristocratic associations one might expect from so ostentatious a church within walking distance of a noble mansion, the seat of the Earls of Pembroke. The parish church which they funded, despite its grandeur and opulence, includes several reminders to remember those less fortunate.
