Verses of Gold in Settings of Green

While on the train from Clapham (N. Yorks) to Skipton last week, I was thrilled to see a large Bible text in a field, in full view of the carriage’s window. The countryside there is truly beautiful, but the message on that text tremendous. It is a pity that more texts, verses and Bible quotes are not publicly displayed in fields, gardens and windows. There is a famine of God’s word, an ignorance of the scriptures and an incredible need for hope in this benighted land.
