Honey in a Hole

This doesn’t look much, does it? In fact, bumble bees have made their nest in this hole. Their species’ honey might not be economically viable for man to harvest, but certainly it exists. It is a dirty hole in the ground, with beauitful honey inside.

Many of our churches and chapels are poor places. Few are attended by the fashionable, the smart, the young. Yet within them one may hear the beautiful words of the gospel, which is nourishment for the soul. Despise not the rough place in which sweetness can be found. 

How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalm 119:103
