Arise, O Lords

I have written to the Lord Cromwell, the Earl of Kinnoull and Lord Grocott this week to ask them to oppose and speak against the evil Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, which has its Second Reading on Friday, 12th September. The House of Commons is seeking to give the state the right to kill its citizens. I have asked these Peers of the Realm to oppose it.

If passed, vulnerable people may be bullied into dying by relatives who seek their assets or by the state which views them as little more than liabilities. Let us hope and pray that their lordships use their constitional powers to reject this pernicious piece of legilsation which was not a manifesto commitment and therefore lacks a constitutional mandate.
