Caisteal Maol

Caisteal Maol is a fifteenth century ruin overlooking the strait of Kyle Akin opposite the mainland on the Isle of Skye. The physical location is stunningly beautiful, but somehow, the ruined castle adds to the scene’s charm and beauty.
One day, all fortresses, castles, military bases and bastions shall be needed no more, for King Jesus, the Prince of Peace, shall return. All opposition shall dissolve, all shall danger dissipate, all threats disarmed. Whether the ruins of such a fallen world shall remain, I very much doubt, but the beauty of the New Earth shall be much enhanced by their ruination and redundancy.
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. Isaiah 2:4
