Jacks in the Pulpit

This Italian arum was observed growing in the chapel grounds. It looks remarkably like Jack-in-the-Pulpit, which is more common to North America. Both are poisonous, just like many North American and British church leaders, teachers and preachers who have departed from the truth. We should be careful who we admit to our pulpit and whose teachings and ministries we hear besides. In my experience, those who spend their hours absorbed by the alluring sirens of YouTube have the lowest levels of discernment, carelessly imbibing the poisonous subtleties of all Toms, Dicks and Jacks in the pulpit.
