Spruced Up

This is common spruce but its flowers are certainly not 'common'. Though photographed in May, this would be a most welcome sight in December, perhaps on a wreath. Conifers are well known for being evergreen, but not for these pinks and purples. God in His creative flare determined to offer a little splash of colour to cheer those northern forests. Be grateful for little mercies, tiny tokens of love, small blessings. Our Beloved delights to send us such things, ahead of the great wedding feast. Enjoy His wooing, delight in His little gifts. 

2025 may well see further church decline and spiralling moral demise, but God is still kind, providing splashes of colour to this dark, benighted world.
