State of Minds (2026)

I usually associate graffiti with criminal lowlives or bored, barely literate teenagers. In Cheltenham of all places, I found an example of that art form that I actually rather liked. I was surprised to see it there, but perhaps the better classes of graffiti artist are likely to operate in that city.

One’s state of mind can determine a great deal, good and ill. Paul tells the Romans in 12:2:

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Our fallen, carnal minds are deceived and decaying; in Christ, our minds are being made new, as they slowly but steadily grasp the spiritual truths of the gospel to which we were previously ignorant and hostile.
