Westhoughton Evangelical

I spoke at Westhoughton Evangelical Church two weeks ago. They are a serious and friendly bunch and seem to appreciate a good Word. The interior is dominated by a large pulpit, clearly emphasising the primacy of preaching. The church chooses to sing without any musical accompaniment in the old protestant manner. Their pastor is very active in his campaigns for biblical standards within and without the church and the people of Westhoughton are blessed to have so bright a beacon burn in their midst.
