'Victory for Women' & 'Equality Policies in Chaos'

'Victory for Women' yelled the Daily Mail and 'Equality Policies in Chaos' observed The Times.

The Supreme Court ruled last week that blokes who pretend to be women are just blokes pretending to be women. Being a woman is defined by one’s biology and not a mental state, personal preference or repeated use of pink lipstick and a blonde wig. Good news, yes?

The fact that in Great Britain, in 2025, we need a court to tell us this piece of good news discloses the appalling state to which the nation has sunk. A whole raft of organisations, including universities, local councils and government departments, must now re-write their infamous equality policies and desist from persecuting and sacking people who still deploy their remaining stocks of common sense when assessing the human race.

Much as I applaud their lordships’ ruling, the whole affair offers diagnosis of our spiritual sickness. As we have drifted away from the Christian foundations upon which our country was built, woke godlessness will always probe new ways of defying the Creator’s order. Meanwhile, Islam and eastern 'spirituality' seeks to fill the chasm which the atheistic mindset and materialistic stupidity have created. We who follow the Bible and remain faithful to Jesus Christ, whose words and saving work were once held in high regard in this land, will await with interest and perhaps apprehension the next cultural assault on common sense and God's good order.
