Privet Flower
A rather ordinary-looking privet bush which grows at the chapel was briefly remarkable the other week. Whatever they lack to our eye they compensate in nectar if the flying insect community is anything to go by.
Plain food is usually better for us than the fancy stuff; a plate of meat-and-two-veg likely has greater nutritional value than some packet of processed gunk swimming in a chemical sauce. Likewise, plain Bible teaching does more for the soul than artful sophistry and eloquent oratory. It is daily bread we need, not caviar.
