It's Not Rocket Science

“It’s not rocket science”, someone will remark if they wish to say something is easy. Rocket science is the very essence of difficulty, the saying implies. Yet rocket science is relatively simple; just make sure that the engine’s thrust is greater than the weight of the rocket and off it goes. “It’s not getting an appointment with your GP” might be a better expression.

‘Getting to heaven’ is the most difficult thing a human can do. Our sin keeps us out; we struggle to comprehend it; the various religions and philosophies offer a hundred different methods; and to cap it all, we cannot even state where it is. Yet ‘getting to heaven’ is also the easiest thing to do, because the Lord Jesus did all the hard work. So how do I get to heaven when I die?

...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9, NKJV

Heaven might be high above, but it's not rocket science you need to know.
