Capella

Another stellar sighting in the dark Shetland skies is Capella, the brightest star in the constellation Auriga. In fact it is four stars which appear as one, all rather tediously named Capellas Aa, Ab, H and L. Although the latter two are relatively cool red dwarfs, the first two are giant stars, thus rendering Capella the sixth-brightest star in the night sky. In one respect, they have cheated, for having combined their respective powers of light; in another respect, who cares? When Daniel observes in 12:3:

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever

-he may well be speaking of groups of believers combining to share and multiply their respective light. The collective term for Christ's people shining together is called ‘a church’, and when all seen together in the eternal sky, ‘the universal church’.
