The church of St Nicholas Cole Abbey is located in central London. It utilises its space as a pleasant café where Christian books can be obtained, as well as offering a series of lunchtime talks which point people to Jesus Christ. Many churches in both London and Lancashire resemble social clubs with little spiritual truth to share, but Cole Abbey’s website dispels all doubt:

Rotherhithe is one of the parts of London which has retained its village atmosphere. By the Thames and in view of central London, it has a charming pub, the Angel, and some pleasant parkland.
